Individual Child and Adolescent Therapy: Individual therapy services provide the opportunity to evaluate each child and family’s individual characteristics, strengths, and challenges in order to develop a customized treatment program. Diagnoses addressed often include Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, and more. However, I am a big believer that therapy should not seen as just a way correct problems and deficits, but rather a support that is available to all children and families at any point when they could use a little extra help with behavior, social skills, emotions, or just with trying to live their best life!

Friendship and Feelings Neurodiversity Group In friendship and feelings groups, children learn specific coping and social skills through direct instruction, but more importantly, through experience. Our groups have a strong emphasis of neurodiversity appreciation. A common phrase that comes up is “All brains and bodies are different.” Children are celebrated for their uniques interests, characteristics, and abilities while learning to identify their needs and finding ways to be themselves and self-advocate without harming relationships and pushing others away. Each group starts out with a brief lesson, followed by activities that allow the children to utilize the skills as they would need to in real life. As the children interact, they are coached on recognizing their own and others’s emotions through physiological and non-verbal cues. We support them in regulating their own emotions and advocating appropriately for themselves, as well as understanding others’ perspectives and recognizing when and how to apply the social skills. The group also includes much reflection and support to teach children how to observe and understand the outcomes of various interactions. Activities may include obstacle courses, science experiments, cooking activities, games, fort building, crafts, Lego building, and more.

Girl Power! Girls Group: Girl Power! Groups focus on building self-esteem and coping skills to help girls tween girls face challenges with confidence. Activities may include obstacle courses, science experiments, cooking activities, games, fort building, crafts, Lego building, and more.

Homeschool Connections: Homeschool Connections groups offer children the opportunity to get out some energy and connect with others in an active, fun, and playful environment. Group activities focus on promoting teamwork, emotional intelligence and coping skills, and understanding others’ perspectives.

Parent Coaching: Parenting is HARD and we could all use a little support and a fresh perspective at times. Parent coaching helps parents learn ways to address specific behavior challenges or emotional concerns at home. It also helps parents cope with their own emotions related to parenting. The primary goal is to foster routines and relationships that help family life run more smoothly and provide children with the base of comfort and security they need to enter the world with confidence.
